Hear their giggles, see their tiny hands in motion, and feel the energy of your everyday moments long after they’ve passed.

“Danica is absolutely lovely to work with. She is a genuine soul who understands the importance of connecting at the heart level in order to bring forth the best aspects of who you are! I love the deep value she places on family and why she does what she does.

I do believe her work is making this world a better place, one family at a time. When you hire her, definitely take a minute to get to know her, too. She's just wonderful.”

Family films are a way to breathe life into your memories. A documentary film doesn’t just freeze a moment—the giggles, the whispers, their cute voice saying "pasketti"—it’s all captured, for you to enter into anytime in the future.

When you welcome a child into your family through adoption, creating a deep sense of love and belonging is one of the most meaningful things you can do.

You'll never forget the first time you saw their face. The way their little hand fit into yours. The day they called you Mom or Dad and it felt like the world stood still.

Adoption isn’t just a single moment—it’s a lifelong story. And just like any beautiful story, it deserves to be captured, remembered, and felt again and again.

Documentary family films capture the real, raw, everyday magic of your life together, in your cozy home; preserving the unspoken love, the connection, the belonging.

One day, your child will watch these films and see proof of something powerful and deeply connected to their identity—that they were wanted, chosen, and endlessly loved.
This could be your story.

An Afternoon of Laughter, Chaos & Connection

Videos capture the way his whole face lights up when he spots you at preschool pickup. The way he reads his books upside down, the laughter and fun of hanging out at your favorite local Denver brewery—these are the little things that make up your family’s story in this season of life.

One day, you’ll wish you could step back into these moments. Not just through pictures, but through their voices, their laughter, the way they say “Mama” with that little lisp.

That’s why I create documentary family films—not just to capture childhood, but to give you a way to hold onto it. To give your future self a love letter filled with the everyday magic you never want to forget. A film your kids will watch years from now and feel how much they were loved.

A Day in Your Life

This sweet family traveled to Colorado for a little respite in the mountains to spend quality time together in the midst of a difficult fight against breast cancer. They wanted to savor the time and capture it all in photos and video because they didn't know how much time they had left. It turns out they had less than two years together before mom passed on to be with the angels. You can imagine how much these memories will mean to their children as a way to be with their mother again and see how deeply she loved them.

Blending a family through adoption is such a gift of love, courage, and hard work. Giving all your children that sense of belonging is so critical, and family films give you a tool to build that sense of belonging. It's a gift that keeps on giving-to see themselves deeply connected to your family.

An Adoption Story

Freebirth is when you choose to give birth with just your family present, no medical professionals. As I observed and documented this birth story, it was empowering for the mother to get to birth exactly how she wanted, with no one else's opinions, interventions or voices. She managed the chaos of her children so well and was able to intuitively tap into her body and her baby. Her children, her husband, and her mother got to be part of this incredible birth story.

When your first birth is an incredible homebirth, and you choose to give birth at home again, in the water, with your loving and supportive birth team. This was such an emotional and celebratory birth!

Giving Birth at Home in the Water

This couple lives in an RV and chose to have their first baby in the place most special to them, their own piece of property in the wilderness beyond Colorado Springs. In a 400 sq ft shed, surrounded by their gorgeous view of the mountains, their horses, goats, and dogs, and in the cozy comfort of their tiny RV, they welcomed their sweet baby boy. They didn't have a doula, and I had gotten to know them quite well at this point, so I acted as their doula, suggesting helpful breathing, mindset shifts, positions to aide labor, hands on pressure, and encouraging words. They said they could not have done it without me. Honestly, choosing your birth team can be paramount to the outcome.

Born in the Colorado Wilderness

On a cold and snowy Colorado night, a mother howled her baby into her arms in the comfort of her home and her husband's powerful support. With her midwife, doula, and photographer by her side, she gave birth to her first baby, a boy.
