Meet my amazing photographer friend Keely! Every once in a while it's good for us photographers to put ourselves on your side of the lens and be photographed! This was our goal: to become each other's client and see what it feels like to be in your shoes. This not only helps us understand how it feels but also helps us become better photographers because much of photography is about connecting with the client, and it's kinda difficult to connect when I've never put myself in your position. So this was my first time being photographed, and I have to say, I was so nervous! So nervous to be on the other side. (Perhaps at times being behind the camera becomes my safety blanket.) However, Keely has a knack for making people feel comfortable and in no time my butterflies flew away. She put my worries at ease with her encouraging words and delightful giggle when she captured a shot she loved. We had so much fun on this breezy supposed-to-be-spring day! Next week is part two - cityscape! Stay tuned for the photos of me that she took!
