When Ellen first contacted me about wedding photography, I could tell instantly
that she and I were going to become great friends. Ellen cares about a person's soul
and so willingly loves and serves others. If she were a food, Ellen would be honey
because she is sweet, genuine and pure.
Likewise, Bobby's kind soul lends him to collecting many deep friendships. Despite
his introverted nature,
he had the whole room in stitches with a hilarious and witty
account of his and Ellen's longstanding on-and-off relationship - his undying love
for her and her apparent uninterest in him. Evidently, everyone knew Ellen would
marry Bobby long before she did.
Having their wedding on New Year's Eve was a pretty ingenious idea considering
people are in the mood to party and celebrate and stay up late anyhow. The
reception was a blast. Even Grandpa got down on the dance floor to teach
the Peppermint Twist! And a pleasant little surprise: after an uncommonly warm
December day, the evening brought a gentle snowfall, blanketing the landscape with beauty.
I know that all photographers must say that they get to photograph
the most wonderful couples, but when I say it I really mean it!
