{Pie, Piano and Poetry... and other things that begin with the letter P}

After a house concert this past fall, an idea hatched in Sommer's head to host
an evening of art and eating and inspiration at my house. Sommer had spontaneously hosted
one of these evenings prior and it was a huge hit! Because who doesn't like those three P's?
Several creative souls came over and brought a myriad of personal art projects, both finished and unfinished.
We ate scrumptious homemade desserts and shared our creative endeavors with each other.
In accordance with our evening of P's, a delicious Pear and Pecan Pie was prepared by the hostest herself.

Sommer played and sung an original song she wrote.

Jack showed us his first attempt at stitching. He also showed us some drawings of superheros!

He woke up at 5am to get started on this exciting project, gleening information
from a magazine and youtube videos. We were all very impressed.
I shared some poetry I wrote a while back and some recent photography (another P!)
Like Jack, the idea kept me up at 4am... you just can't stifle a creative mind!
Jen and Sommer combined forces and jamed together on violin and piano and vocals while Kevin played drums.
Jessica shared heartfelt poetry, which she read aloud via a text she sent herself.
Love it.
Jen's creative talents aren't limited to music. She is also an amazing mixed media artist as well as jewelry maker!
Perhaps the most interesting endeavor was Kristin's herbalism and home remedies! We were all intrigued.
