{I hope to never stop learning}

Can I just say CreativeLIVE is rocking my world!
That team of people is truly fantastic and such a blessing. They get some of the leading photographers
to teach a 3 day hands-on class. One weekend of webinars gives me more practical knowledge about photography
than I learned in 4 years of college! The photographers also reveal so many secrets to their success.
CreativeLIVE broadcasts the class as a live webinar, for free! It is truly an exceptional opportunity
for photographers around the world to get to learn from the best of the best. Suffice to say,
I was not going to miss out on the webinar this past weekend and thus I spent 24 hours of my weekend attached to my computer,
watching magic happen and furiously taking notes. Bambi Cantrell is a super genius of light and posing.
It was amazing to listen and watch how she directs clients in a photoshoot; she has mastered the art of communication,
which is so so key to any business, and it was enlightening to see how well it worked for her in photography.

In response to an overwhelming amount of new knowledge, I decided to challenge myself to some daily goals/games:
-Look at the light sources wherever I am. Light is the photographer’s paint and I want to become an expert at using it to paint beautiful pictures.
-Look at people. How does light fall on their face? On their shape? How could I position them to make it fall in a more flattering way?
-Look at people’s facial structure - do they have a tall thin face, a wide jaw, slanty eyes? How would I photograph that.
Look at people’s shape - how would I photograph that?
-Practice getting people to do what I want them to by communicating it in a way that convinces them it would be in THEIR best interest.
