My dear cousin Lisel got married! I think she is the bee's knees.
Growing up close to these cousins was almost like getting an extra set of six sisters and brothers.
We spent most holidays together and us city sisters were fascinated by the novalty of collecting eggs for breakfast,
caring for a litter of newborn puppies, clipping turkey's wings so they couldn't fly away,
and easter eggs hunts that would leave eggs turning up all year.

I take any excuse to visit Denver and see the family, especially when it's the marriage of two amazing people!
Lisel and Dave chose to get married in an art gallery, which was a clever way to have the space
already decked out with beauty. One of my favorite parts of the reception was the video created by Lisel's
brother-in-law Jeff who asked the kids questions about love and questions about Lisel and Dave's relationship.
Of course their responses were beyond precious and good for some belly-ache laughs.
